About me:
My name is Julie Mackin. I am a current semi-professional women’s soccer player for Greenville Liberty. I play outside forward and outside back. In the two years I have played for the Liberty, I started and played every minute of every game. In 2022, we were national semi-finalists in the W League. I also have guest played with the Charlotte Lady Eagles on multiple occasions. They were WPSL champions this year (2023), and I played in the regional tournament to help birth a trip to the national final. Collegiately I played for Clemson University. I was a four year starter, playing outside forward my freshman/senior year, and outside back my sophomore and junior years. Accolades during my college years include 2016 ACC regular season champion, Rookie of the Year 2016, All-ACC academic team 2017-2019, Co-Sida Academic all region team 2018-2019, Iron Woman Award for Excellence in Strength and Conditioning 2018. From 2014-2018, I was a member of the U18 WNT as an outside back. I played with the US internationally in England and Spain. I played against the following countries: England, Norway, Denmark, Japan, and Colombia. In high school, I played for Real Colorado. I also was awarded Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year.
